Deep, dark, opaque, ruby/purple. Aromas are predominantly savoury with meaty marmite notes overlying brooding dark-fruits. The palate starts with fresh acidity & delicious lifted red fruits, supported by plentiful, fine, velvet-textured tannins. There are distinct meaty aromas & clean, cedar notes overlying the fruit. Alcohol is balanced & the fruit maintains a lovely vitality to the end of the long finish.
